i just finished the final tool in the coming Zine Maker update!
it's called ASCII Paint :D
you'll be able to freehand draw with ASCII paints (like dingbats), and then save your art as a text file (with formatting)...so the Zine Maker is not just for zines it's also for ASCII art.
please enjoy my latest github commit...

another happy accident that i encountered while making a new line tool for the Zine Maker! (the intended tool broke)
the bug makes these scratchy looking lines (all over the place) & i spent a big part of the day trying to understand how?why?!? so i can re-create it intentionally
i just finished the prototype of the Perlin Chalk tool for the Zine Maker. it's weird it took so long since it's really basic but somehow you get caught up on the most basic things even if you've done them a 100 times before.
the lines u can get with it are really cool :)
adding an animated crab gif to a website makes things... crabdivating
finished coding the first set of glitch filters for the zine maker! these u apply directly in the tool, for the "authentic" look
there will b desaturation, halftones, monochrome, pixelation, & dithering like floydsteinberg…
(image not relevant i just like posting art made in it)
The main interface of the zine maker!
It's very colorful & animated to provide an inspiring environment for zine making.
You'll be able to import, export, & print ready for folding.
Don't have the drawing interface done yet, but it draws without trouble so I'm happy rn. ☺️
