The #Westbestiary from @mooseandmouse has reached the letter U!
#animalalphabet
U is for Unicorn
How fabulous the unicorn!
But me, I’d think it horrid
If I had a pointy horn
Which grew out my forehead.
You could spend #WorldOrangutanDay with a big purple rhino...or another good way to celebrate is to support a @wwf_uk project to save their habitat!
It's the #WestBestiary letter S, from @mooseandmouse!
S is for Sloth
The sloth, he may smile,
The sloth, he may frown,
It’s hard to tell while
He hangs upside-down.
I was very impressed with the latest instalment of the #WestBestiary by @mooseandmouse but not sure about the bird...
Q is for Quetzal (sort of)
I tried to write a rhyme for Quetzal,
But all that I could find was pretzel,
So I’ll just have to say to you
Sorry if I jump the Q!
Run for cover, it's the letter P in the #WestBestiary from @mooseandmouse!
P is for Pig
If you invite a pig to dine
You’ll only ask him once,
Unless you like to see a swine
Who gobbles as he grunts.
Today, @mooseandmouse returns with the letter E!
#westbestiary (please do not check the maths)
#AnimalAlphabets
E is for Elephant
An elephant always remembers,
His head is quite stuffed full of knowledge,
And some of them even are members
Of Mensa, and study at college.
A bit late to the party, here's my next instalment of @mooseandmouse's #WestBestiary
#animalalphabet...
C is for Chameleon
Chameleons, whenever seen,
Are red. Or orange. Maybe green.
They’re one of Nature’s strangest sights,
Their colours change like traffic lights.
I've accepted the challenge from
@SteveMarsden
to post covers of 7 children's books I love: no explanations, no review, just a cover. Each time I post, I will nominate someone else. 1 cover a day for a week. Day 4, can I nominate you, Katy 😉? @KatyHalford1
I couldn't resist drawing this, like I can never resist eating cheese!
