@ManuelKai1 I do think he played Anakin how he was meant to; however, not b/c of his "repressed upbringing." Anakin was afraid & greedy & wanted control, Palpatine preyed on that. The Jedi did not teach emotional suppression, they taught control, which are 2 entirely different things.
