I was talking to a Japanese colleague about censorship in early anime dubs in the US- cuts, closeups, overlays, and language. She really enjoyed how Sailor Jupiter’s “talents” have (had?) become a widespread joke... I forgot to tell her about the “cousins”.

While I'm talking up my art in 2018, I might as well highlight the work I did for the museum. I fought to be able to use my creativity and talent in a workspace that desperately needed it. I'm grateful to those who supported these endeavors.

While I'm very proud of the work I did at the museum, 2018 will be a year of amazing collaborations and projects. I've proven to myself I'm capable of storytelling through a sequential art medium, both digitally and traditionally. I'm so grateful to those who gave me the chance.
