bubsy 1 has some box art with unexpected texture to it. inexplicably the background is rushing, splashing water on, like, a canvas. i committed to replicating it, but learned i never looked at that box art very hard til now.

this is the most upsetting image i've seen in a while and it is in fact a key hold that lasts way too long for what it is

they're a little dry looking at first glance, but it has character designs from the same person who did cowboy bebop, and while RAD's english localization has some nearly hilaribad VA work, it is genuinely a fun as hell experimental title, and RCD is apparently very similar.
