The story would have still worked that way without needing to white wash Bosco and Honey, being so obscure by the 90's & being rejuvenated by the appreciation people had of her old cartoons.

@paul_prospero In 1958-59 their was a live action Movie & TV series Gekkō Kamen/ Moonlight Mask, who Looks a little similar to Moon Knight (if Marvel was inspired by that For Moon Knight, or just a coincidence I don't know) & Marvel Probably tried ride that series popularity to move into Japan.
