to celebrate here's some really old Sandslash artworks that i'm still quite proud of!

the joke is that Sandslash in Japanese (サンドパン, Sandpan) is similar to "sandwich" (サンド, sand) and "bread" (パン, pan) combined!

genuinely i think the timing for #PokemonScarletViolet's announcement couldn't have been better/worse

because i was working on these designs the other day 🙃
