just realized a possible etymology for Clobbopus' Japanese name, タタッコ Tatakko.

it's a pun on 駄々っ子 dadakko (spoiled child) - since it often acts childish. its category in Japanese is even だだっこポケモン Dadakko Pokemon (Spoiled Pokemon).

god i love Clobbopus so much.

so i was looking at Legends Arceus character pages on Bulbapedia and this caught me so off guard
