Oh, double surprise! Mitsui turns out to be a member of the Shohoku Basketball team. Kogure tells everyone how Mitsui joined the team and even how he was considered "MVP".

"Slam Dunk" ep. 22: Hanamichi and Ryota "confront" each other during basketball practice to find out who is the best, but later they tell each other's stories revealing that they both have similar cases. Finally they are the best teammates of the team xD

"Slam Dunk" ep. 19: There is only one minute left. Sakuragi and Rukawa manage to make assists to each other unintentionally and in the last seconds Sakuragi will make his first score and he succeeds!

"Touch" ep. 19: The preliminary tournament for the Koushien has started and Kazuya wants to win all the baseball games no matter what. Minami won't forget that kiss he gave Tatsuya even though he asks her to forget about it.

When Takenori Akagi finally makes his return, he replaces Rukawa. The coach mentions that he will be back almost immediately as he seems to know that he is a key player in the game. The Shohoku team regains their spirits.
