Here’s a better look (scanned) at my ballpoint pen study of @SUEtheTrex @fieldmuseum @bluerhinostudio Sue sculpture, just for fun & practice. I still want to add more to this drawing, get more into the textures & incorporate a background, when I have time.
I don’t ha e anything new to post at the moment, everything I’m working on is in the beginning stages, so here’s a #Triceratops study from 2018 that I was pretty proud of (Ballpoint ink/photoshop) ... I was going for a retro/1940’s biology textbook aesthetic for this series.
@benjiopteryx Same for my experience! I did some work with Vince for the Grand Canyon Museum Collection, fun project!
Alright everyone, I could use some feedback! Which one (or ones) of these would you be most interested in seeing put into a sticker design? I’d probably remove the background so the sticker is the shape of the animal. 1-4, let me know!
Starting another Paleoart thread, here’s another of my absolute favorite illustrators! John Sibbick, beautiful color work & such insanely detailed textures!
