8. Dedede was one of the first memorable bosses I ever fought. Kirby was my favorite game when I was very young and he is still a really fun and charming villain!

5. Paper Mario is just one wonderful series developed by Intelligent Systems over the years. The series has changed course but Intelligent Systems continues to develop solid work in their other properties and games!

2. Madeline from Celeste was one of the first to come to mind! Her fight to battle her own anxiety and depression and panic attacks is incredibly powerful and grounds her. All of her feats and the way she comes to terms with her personal battles feels really wonderful!
