5. Paper Mario is just one wonderful series developed by Intelligent Systems over the years. The series has changed course but Intelligent Systems continues to develop solid work in their other properties and games!

4. The Beginner's Guide is a game I look back at every now and then. It really speaks to me as someone who creates art publicly and privately. The narration done by Davey Wreden can absolutely blow me away. Definitely worth experiencing if you haven't heard of it!!

2. Madeline from Celeste was one of the first to come to mind! Her fight to battle her own anxiety and depression and panic attacks is incredibly powerful and grounds her. All of her feats and the way she comes to terms with her personal battles feels really wonderful!

1. There are a plethora of options but one that always comes straight to mind is Pikmin 2! There is something really lovely about being tiny captains studying a big, new world!
