Rewatching Castlevania for the fight scene moodboard and playing Witcher III/HZD for fun among other things, it bleeds into my planning for Sol that somehow I felt a weird pressure to play into the monster-fighting trope that's also common in a lot of popular PH myth media.

Sol Dalusung is a mythic fantasy adventure comic about a demigod archaeologist forced to return home where gods and spirits thrive... and an ancient curse stirs. Inspired by the likes of Indiana Jones with a decolonized flavor of Kapampangan folklore and Filipino epics.
