x The buccal fat pad or cheek fat and it’s relationship with the surrounding on the face. This fat pad is removed in a lipectomy. This illustration was done for an article on facial rejuvenation procedures.

Over time my paintings transitioned from being surreal in their content to more literal depictions of anatomy. This led me straight into the path of medical illustration. I’d found a way to combine my love for life science and passion for art.

I mainly use and to create illustrations for physicians and research scientists ranging from a variety of medical specialties. My favorite specialty by far is The human brain is incredibly fascinating to me.🧠
