Frank was part of Los Four, which was a Chicano artist collective during the 1970s and early 1980s in Los Angeles, California. The group was instrumental in bringing Chicano Art to the attention of the mainstream art world.

Margaret Frances "Peggy" Bacon (1895 – 1987) was a printmaker, illustrator, painter & writer.
Bacon was a very prolific artist. In 1919, at the age of 24, she wrote and illustrated her first book, The True Philosopher and Other Cat Tales.

Eva was an American painter, printmaker, muralist, illustrator and bookbinder.
Eva Auld and Ernest Watson married in 1911. Their summer home in Monterey, Greywold, became their studio where they printed and sold their block prints.
John Whorf (1903–1959) was called “perhaps the most brilliant water-colorist in America today,” in 1929.
