Looking at my disgruntled house from the back with its dishevelled but abundant trees in the middle of a very new and pristine neighbourhood and reminds me of a Quentin Blake or John Birmingham storybook. I'm so grateful to those two and to Roal Dahl for different life outlook.
"Today was a Difficult Day," said Pooh.
There was a pause.
"Do you want to talk about it?" asked Piglet.
"No," said Pooh after a bit. "No, I don't think I do."
"That's okay," said Piglet, and he came and sat beside his friend.
"What are you doing?" asked Pooh.

5 years ago, after being knocked by life and bouncing back from grieving, I created this large ink work called "Self-belief". It is about a person propelling a ship forward through the power of belief. Inks on paper, sold but it was about 130 cm x 75 cm, 2015
