Suicune was my favorite of the three when I was a kid and now they made it a goddamn dinosaur??? It’s like they are begging me to draw it. It’s so cool!!

@victoriaying Thank you for saying it! I’ve been completely turned off from all the recent designs. I was super into the old chunky fantasy look they used to have, love these looks.

I did also paint that glitchy effect for the text by hand for some reason lol

You can see the attention to anatomical and scale flow detail here. I thought it would be cool to use elongated scales instead of feathers. This sounded a lot easier to pull off then it turned out, there was a lot of drawing and redrawing here to get it right.

Boy howdy Koraidon is a real complex design but I wanted to do it right. I learned a whole ton on this one, took around 67 hours of paint time. That does not include despair time.

The final battle in Pokemon Scarlet is weirdly very good. I had to paint it.
