I was looking at some of the last 320x200 resolution scenes I ever drew and was surprised because they all have bluish skies! I don't know what I was thinking. :')
Most of my evening and weekend art studies for the past month, combined, minus some odd things here and there. I've been pushing harder than usual, and have also been learning a lot of new stuff at work, too, which is great. Cool to see a month's homework all together like this.
Took a break from drawing handsome goths and witches to draw a cool old guy. ^_^
Something that has given me a lot of inspiration and admiration this morning is Tu Bui's concept art. You can find more here: https://t.co/bQ8AMJvcym
Here's some old, low resolution scenes that weren't done for games, but for study and experimentation. Most of my studies are rough and not very good, but I still like these ones.
Just a quick piece tonight. Focused as little on 'realism' as I could convince myself to, focused on interesting ideas and suggestion. I'm trying to rethink how I use references in order to have more control over using them.
Over on @AdventureGamers I take a look at shapes as the foundational building blocks in composition, and how various forms bring different things to a scene! https://t.co/RDmMUZeUYo
