Another #secretofstmichel watercolor #dailydoodle, trying a variation of rhe #catwoman palette. &70 etc

color testing, first with a green-blue bkg that i wrongly thought would be recessive, then a lighter, lower-contrast color, then that color blurred, and finally the winner -- a redder (pinker?) version that has the right balance of cold and distance. now for actual watercolors...

Progress on the #harleyquinn watercolor commission. Probably finish it tomorrow at lunch or something. Kinda surprised I pulled off (more or less) the lettering freehand. High school me would have been impressed.

Got some thumbnailing done so rewarded myself with (the start of) a watercolor/color pencil #furiosa #madmax. Now it's time to power wash the patio before we are covered in six months of arctic snow.
