Wasabi supposed Judas' fellows might avoid him because he often makes alarming comments about the wrath of God. Takuan agreed, but he thought Judas need not to change his topic merely to increase the number of his friends.

Judas was pleased because the animals spoked to him at ease. He revealed his fellow-disciples looked to him as avoiding to talk with him.

Flora soon made friends with Judas.

They saw Judas near the Temple. The frogs went to speak to him.

The merchants of this city were running business at the corner of the yard of the Temple which had been assigned to the people from other countries to worship God. The frogs and Flora presumed the man behind the pillar should be native here.

Wasabi wanted to see the man behind the pillar, but other two thought it better to let him be hiding. Flora could even trace him by his smell, but she declared she would not.
