As Wasabi asked John why his brother James was not with him, John looked displeased and told he didn't want to be thought of as his big brother's belt bag (in Japanese koshi-ginchaku, a coward/sly person always going after a someone with power )
Jesus immediately rescued Peter. The frogs were amazed at the details of the things which had happened last night, through the vivid description spoken by John and Matthew.
And then, Peter was scared by a blow of the wind, and got drowned. The frogs, who had known Jesus had rescued him finally, were not an appropriate audience.
Cheered by his fellows, Peter was going toward Jesus over the surface of the sea.
And then Peter stood on the surface of the sea! All, including Peter himself, were greatly amazed. John and Matthew spoke passionately what they had seen
Peter, with a good courage, jumped out from the boat. The frogs encouraged John to bear witness, by their attentive posture.
Among the disciples, Peter stood and asked Jesus to command him to come over him.
In the storm, they saw a shadow approaching. The frogram knew it had been Jesus.
