Otomate is infamous for selling games based on art - regardless of how they get that art.

but their hiiro/hakuok series sold well because people still liked that it "looked" like yone

there's a lot of CGs that look similar to that, which you could move around and "line up" to make it feel like a tracing too.

all of these games came out before psychedellica. doesn't mean they are traced.🤷
