the good news for Stephen is that he’s got a fair amount of levelheadedness in his life now and can finally be more open with his peers. Sam was the most influential in that department, but now Alex is here to help ;)

but all the stress of hiding manifested itself in a Flight response, which i think chapter one already did a FanTastic job of capturing imo. we’ve seen him working too hard, stressing himself out, and getting lost in his own thoughts. he never really gives himself a break.
