He was great in both of these classics...

I occasionally have ‘I’m not good’ wobbles whilst drawing.

Halfway through drawing things, I get, “Haud oan. ...Is this rubbish?” thoughts.

What I do is this:
I look to my favourite illustrator, John R. Neill (Long deid now).

Looking at his stuff always sorts me right out 👍

Got a wee glimpse of famous Molindinar Burn, Glasgow, there...

Finally watched “Come And See” (1985) and it didn’t leave my mind for a full week afterwards. I thought it was incredible and it left me devastated and low for a while.

A few folk had told me it had maybe been too ‘talked up’ over the years. But I don’t think so.

Thinking of watching the 1985 War film, “Come And See”.

How long am I looking at being traumatised for? A week? A lifetime?

I noticed 3 differences in Coppola’s ‘new’ edit of the 3rd Godfather film and altogether, those edits and trimmings take or free up seconds.

In my opinion, he’s somehow made this already flawed picture a little worse. Best to just leave it alone now, really.

Watched the first two Godfather films today in preparation for watching this tonight...I’ll be interested to see what Coppola’s done with it...
