YOU CAN'T SPELL BOND WITHOUT FURY
Not according to Steranko... and he is always right.
WHAT ABOUT BOB?
Sheena's companion Robert Reynolds was in a tough spot for sure... By 1942 he was in peril a lot... and in need of rescue... then he vanished from the covers completely. Learn more in my latest EC COMICS COLUMN:

HAVE I BEEN SPEEDING, OFFICER?
The Legion meets the fuzz. This art is so clean, sharp and crisp, you need to arrest the artist! And that isn't even taking into account the strategic shading on Light Lass' costume. These were not comics, but style guides!
THE LEGION OF SUPER-EXECUTIONERS
All this, and Lana Lang, too. One of my favorite Legion stories. Cary Bates and Mike Grell were an unsung dream-team of comics in the age of grooviness!
NOT MAKING THE CUT
Unpublished cover for VAMPIRELLA #43 (1975) by ENRIC TORRES... just because!
BRING ON THE PAYNE!
Ok, the cover is by our good pal Nick Cardy, this is the sugar to lure you in, because what follows is pure terror! Who the f*ck is BILL PAYNE and why does he draw like the love child of GRAHAM INGELS and GENE COLAN?
@bloodofkirby @irvoneil @ComicCrusaders @johnnydfetish @javiercaster @gracepheesh @SelkirkArt @DeevElliott @Lord_Azoth @LegionOfDoomCTG I hope it is. Fran did not one, but TWO strips in each issue of Planet Comics AND a strip in Wings and Jungle Comics at the same time! Darn, she was nearly as fast as Jack!
CALL ME OLD-FASHIONED, BUT YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS
Al Williamson at his freakin' best... is heard to top.
More from his Flash Gorden run from the 1960s.
