The world building happened as I set the scene. This challenge was an opportunity to build an entire scene, light, sculpt, render, animate camera, edit and compose music. All within a week. I think it took me 10-12 days (rendering was 72 hours). Here are a few process shots:

the isometric closeups are funny, because you can see how messy the particle systems for trees and towns are. Gonna keep these Top Down until I find a better way to spawn towns and forests, but wanted to share these closeups to show how much "hiding" im doing on a micro lvl.
