I've always wondered if this was Gyro lying to himself or using his bruised ego as a cover up, like "I'm not saving Johnny cuz I like him or anything, and besides that goatee asshole called me a conformist!", to sort of rationalize his actions to himself 🤔

I get that Araki had to have Johnny's son be named George to stay true to the original Jojo timeline, but he really should've been named "Nicholas". Johnny's dad does not deserve to have anything named after him
