I get people's dislike of Susca but I still attest that her motivation makes sense. As a parent, all you want is for your kid to be okay. It has be to be heartbreaking to know for so long that one day your kid is going to have to die for no fault of his own
I know some of the people would still think killing the beacon is the best (1 life for many) but you can tell even from the guards reactions that if the sharks knew the beacon didn't want to die that they would feel a lot different about completing their prophecy
Okay, out of any background character in the series, this one may just be me lol
I talked a few posts back about how Kappa was able to inspire Siren to be braver and I honestly think you can even see it here with the guards. Perhaps his real "magic" is just being able to inspire other people. Cheesy? Maybe, but I think it's kinda fitting lol
Ngl, this scene still makes me so angry to read lol, but in a good way. It just really makes you feel like Siren does. He's angry, he's scared, he's unsure of what to do but he knows the situation is dire. You really feel all of it from the paneling and dialogue presented
It just goes to show the kind of influence that Kappa was able to have on Siren in such a short amount of time. It doesn't matter if he doesn't have a plan cause he'll figure it out and he knows with Kappa he can do anything. Love these boys!!!
It really is a good point and hard situation that Siren put Skiff in (not that he had much of a choice). It's really sad and scary to think if this was how the prophecy worked, he'd be probably correct
Idk how to break this to you but...you don't know anything about him either🙄💅
Okay, but like, let me paint a picture: Susca, sneaky like, comes down with spear ready to kill the beacon. Low and behold she witnesses the beacon stuck in the jail cell bars, being pulled at one arm by Siren, another by Krill, as Nee frantically yells in the background XD
Don't get me wrong, I love Krill, but this here is why I ADORE Queen Nee. She didn't have to go and talk to Siren but his struggle resonated with her and I think it was honestly not only brave but kind of her to take the time to talk to him
