I NEED manipulative Siren back for season 3. He was such a liar and played so much guilt cards on all of his people, I feel like we got NONE of that in season 2. And while it makes sense, I need this version of Siren back too XD
You know, thinking back on it, Selkie was probably tying to help Siren but at the same time, since we know she's the one that leaked the castle's information, she was probably also giving Nee and Krill an opportunity to rescue Kappa. Truly, a background support from the start😎
Back in the day when the plot twist first was revealed, we were out here rereading these chapters like :0 LMAO, I understand why she locked Siren up. If he knew that people stopped getting hurt for a bit, even at that young, he might've connected the dots
I think a lot of people overlook the barracuda attack as really just introducing the creature held at the shark castle and for introducing Skiff, but I really think it was this moment that cemented Susca's journey. I think it really broke her and made her want the beacon dead
Oh how right you were Kappa, but oh how you had such the wrong idea lol
Honestly, we don't really talk about this character development. Siren really went from being frozen when Skiff was being attacked to rushing in to not only save Pim and Pagoon, but also to fight a literal minigod for Neth and Kappa. This man's arc is subtle but great!
You know, Susca inadvertently caused Siren to hurt Kappa and I'll be honest, that does irk me a little :T
I need a flashback mini episode of this where we just see young Kappa looking like 0_0 when they tell him the prophecy
Is she right? Yes. Is she also guilt tripping him and putting an unbelievable amount of pressure on him? Yes.
I love how salty Selkie is lol. I think this could also be an early tease to show that the prophecy was fake and they knew
