I've already ranted about this before, but I just love how Wendy draws terrified Siren. It just feels so real, like you can genuinely tell from this one panel all the emotions that would be going through him; etched across one facial expression. It's perfect imo, it really is

I can only imagine how terrifying that must feel. It's literally the epitome of walking in the forest and someone says "We're being followed" Like, absolutely no thank you. Even with a competent person like Pim, I would like to remove myself from that narrative, thank you ❤️

This panel just seems so important. Sometimes you just got to find that one thing that keeps you going, whatever it is, to help you get through all the pain and hard times. Life isn't about the end point but the destination; finding reasons to get you through all the hard times

I wonder what kind of bond they all have. Is it the kind in which their people are just metaphorically bonded as they are really connected to one another or are they actually magically bonded considering their powers? I'm sure we'll find out as Neth continues to push herself...

I swear this panel is just so expertly drawn. Wendy just perfectly encapsulates this depressive, mental exhaustion with this seemingly miniscule will to live, it's heartbreaking truly. This is such a hard episode to read even if set in the past, after how attached I've become ;-;

I know it's the art style, but I love that she has a very similar smile to Kappa and Siren. It really makes Mucku feel like the Kappa of the group which is really reflective in how attached the two became to one another right away

I thought it was really interesting how we never got to see Mono's face in this shot. I figure there has to be a deliberate reason why it was teased but not shown, maybe we'll see it in the future? I originally believed she just could not speak so this is much more intriguing now

God, the fierce look in their eyes. I love how they still look so tired but you can see how they've gotten this second drive for life. Idk if it's necessarily a good choice or safe for them to hunt the minigod, but damn, that was a good idea from Mucku to get them to keep going!

This is so hard hitting. Sometimes the strongest people can be the most vulnerable, can be the ones that have faced the most trauma and to see someone headstrong and brave as Neth having faced a depression as bad as she and Mono did is truly heartbreaking... 😭

This is really interesting and not a concept that I had originally thought of; a sort of equivalent exchange thing going on for all my fellow weebs out there. I wonder if all three put their powers together to fight the turtle minigod, and such a powerful spell came at a cost ?_?
