I've been on twitter since 2009, and it helped me pay rent as a game artist. Before that it was only word of mouth and precarity and doing magazine editorial art. I found mentors and I've mentored. I don't want this place to die.

@AimlessZealot yes, absolutely! That doesn't mean stay at few colors, but it does mean the fundamentals of light and shadow and composition are way easier. In art school they made us render people's portraits using pure green and pure red, and nothing else. Making hard choices is good
