This vintage kitten fabric is from the nursery curtains of my childhood, found in the loft. It was the inspiration for the ‘kitty catkin’ characters in my picture book ‘Bunny Bunny Catkin’. How I loved them ❤️ Just trying to create something to keep from the bits without dry rot.

I recently visited an incredible art installation by Israeli artist 17,000 hand-coloured, etched, steel flowers that seem to burn & wither black. Then explode into colour in the most hopeful way. A tale of humanity’s relationship with the natural world

Can’t think of enough superlatives to describe this year’s award wining, illustrated anthology by Just a little taster here of the illustrations, but so much more to see/read in these wonderful stories of human/animal interaction in our urban world. Wow!!! 👌🏻

Some small details of a mural that I painted for and her sisters in 2005 at their house in Montesarchio, Italy - and we’ve all been good friends ever since - a very happy introduction! It was strange, but lovely, to see it up close again when I visited over Easter.
