Next up: #Nextwave. I’m not a fan of Ellis but absolutely love Immonen, so we’ll see how this goes. First issue was okay.
Bryan Hitch: “…[Jose Luis Garcia Lopez’s] Deadman (maybe the best drawn comic ever)…” https://t.co/pGjecgMtoP
An interesting aspect of this question is knowing if a paper original even exists, given the growth of digital art. For example, was the cover of Saga #1 ink on paper? I have no idea.
Reading more #JusticeLeague today. Most comics would have ended their storylines here but @Ssnyder1835 (and @JamesTheFourth in other issues) again raise the stakes higher than thought possible.
@stevewmorris Hard to pick the best, but Hickman’s Avengers #1 is a contender for me. Epic.
Just got a hell of a deal on a used copy of #JackKirby’s Fourth World Omnibus. $58 including shipping! Apparently it’s not the misprinted version. Fingers crossed it will arrive in good condition. So excited!
More New Year’s Eve reads. Man I love John Byrne’s take on #SpiderMan. #Hulk
@HFoh No one seems to know who drew the cover. Best guess I’ve read is Ron Frenz. Here’s Byrne’s version of the cover.
Finished Cover and liked it a lot. I’m curious how it reads for people who are unfamiliar with Bendis and Mack in “real life.”
@BackintheBronze Here’s a favorite of mine. Still need it for my collection too!
