I’ve been a little bummed about the pending cancelation of #XFAQtor so last night I started a little tribute to my current favorite team. I hope these Queer icons get a chance to shine again beyond the Trial of Magneto.

I love Hailie Sahar’s (@213Sahar) #Lulu, even when she’s being bad, you still root for her. It was easy picking her #Pose #XMen role, because honestly she seems like a perfect fit for 80’s #Psylocke. A character who’s determined to prove herself as a fighter.

I loved @angelicaross as #CandyFerocity and as #AHS’s #DonnaChambers, both characters slid seamlessly between being antagonists and protagonists. So for my next entry into the #Pose #XMen, I’ve cast Ms. Ross as #Marvels best Anti-Heroine, #Mystique.

Next for my #Pose #XMen, the stunning @MjRodriguez7 as #Dazzler. MJ was also my first choice for #JeanGrey as well, but with that amazing voice, I couldn’t help but make her my Dazzler.

Continuing my little experiment casting #Pose alums as #XMen, here’s the insanely talented Dominique Jackson (@tyraaross) as #Storm.

In my spare time, I’ve been working on a small series of #queerpaperdolls. I’ve always loved those old fashion-plate paper dolls and wanted something that spoke more directly to my friends and community. Hope y’all enjoy them.
