I still wish we'd seen Leon drop a Mega Y bombshell on Diantha. It would have added depth to his arsenal and shown he can win at anyone's game. 😈

And it's curious that Ash seems to be the only person who thought to leverage more than one gimmick in the Masters 8. 🙃

When we are almost 15 minutes into the episode and Leon VS Diantha hasn't even been shown you know this doesn't bode well for Big D.

And even now we are still running around with two random children in the forest.

(WTF Pokemon Journeys lol).

Loving the rough line work & subdued colours this artist uses in many of their works. In particular, I think this image captures a fun side of Drasna and Malva.

The most INSANE Pokémon Journeys twist would be if Ash defeated Leon in the semifinals and then squared off against Kanto Champion Red in the finals.

The Pokémon anime would almost certainly never pull such a twist, but boy oh boy would that be epic.
