I took some much needed time off from posting.

It was good but it wasn’t just about me relaxing. I needed to refocus.

Working on a new process.

I’ve always wanted a lighter, more textured look. But new things are always scary.

I’m comfortable with my line art, coloring it in, and then adding texture.

But I wanted to try something new.

It’s Thursday and while I do have some new stuff to share, I’m going to save that until tomorrow.

I’m focusing on one area to build my skills and confidence as an artist- kids books.

I think it’s easy for us to get caught up in the the problems of life and at the end of the day feel like we should have done more.

No matter how many things we accomplish, we need to do more to feel like we deserve better.
