Originally I had another comic planned on the Sunday that this came to be. It started with a fun little Doodles crossing his arms pose that evolved into a quick comic idea.

It was about this time I was thinking 2 things: 1.) I have to add more detail and "charm", despite not quite knowing how to do that, and 2.) should I even introduce a new character? I was legitimately worried if the timing was right, or if I was playing all my cards too soon.
I remember legitimately tickling myself for a good while after coming up with this one. Plus this was the first in-color Doodles comic. Originally I wanted them to be low-effort comics, then I realized I was having a lot of fun working on them, and chose to work harder on them.
