I couldn't not admire those furry looooooong legs. https://t.co/FxGIA2Q3cq
Insomnia makes me find strange shows and movies to watch:
- Double Walker is great
- Mortal (2020) is good dark action
- Nocturna Side A: The Great Old Man's Night (2021) is particularly strange.
- Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job, wtf was that?!
- Night Gallery, 60s sci-fi🙌
Found this little time-lapse of an illustration I made 12 years ago and never finished (yup). A weird one, but that Jell-O house made it fun.
@pascalblanche Love what I'm seeing here, so much good stuff from amazing people. I'll try to join this glorious scifi train with conductor Pascal.
Here's some of my space and sci-fi stuff.
Sadly very few of those were actually painted by women, as they were not encouraged at those times to pursue aspirations other than sustaining perfect families. They were raised to serve and care for men. JFC! Interesting underground art scene nonetheless!
This year I had the honor of being featured at @idnworld v26n4 on a Game art edition. I've been an IdN subscriber since 2007 v13n6, so this feature meant a lot me as an artist. My buddy @khamuslestat is in this issue too, along many wonderful artists.

@tagsalegirl You're basically a Street Fighter II character today. You might enjoy destroying a car with your bare hands 🤜💥 Just sayin...
Also there was a distinct background style difference between the studios at the time:
- Hanna-Barbera had a more graphic-design approach,
- Disney had a semi-realistic style without outlines.
- Fleischer had a hyper stylized BG style with realistic light, similar to Pixar.
I was asked on an interview for a show, to pick favorites of my own artwork. It felt like a parent choosing a favorite child, and opened the imposter-syndrome-portal after looking at old art and thinking:
"Sh*t, I remember this to be cooler than it actually is" ⚰️
