Last night before the scope died. Looking for Thor's Hammer on the moon and my best views of M42/M43 and Flame Nebulae - 30x60s captures using L-Enhance. Left in the starflare in M42 as it feels more realistic!!

in honour of your book release I attach 4 x 20 min "live stack" images I captured a couple of days back. M42/43, Running Man, Horsehead and Flame. What a great constellation!

There’s electronically assisted imagery and there’s astrophotography. I used to sketch my targets. Now i can look at them “live” on my ipad using same scope in same location and really “see” them. No post-processing needed (in the main).

Been having some fun around Sagittarius region over recent nights. Continuing to remain true to in that my stacks remain around 10-15mins but did drift to 30 mins for M31!
