@PeterLewis55 @antonioastro_ @warrior_orion Took one earlier in the week using ASI533 cmos camera and 15mins exposure time. Delivered to my ipad while i was watching it 😉 #EAA
@warrior_orion in honour of your book release I attach 4 x 20 min "live stack" images I captured a couple of days back. M42/43, Running Man, Horsehead and Flame. What a great constellation! @PeterLewis55 @DavidBflower @StargazerRob @sjb_astro @xRMMike
Finally back to nebula and galaxies using #EAA. 15min observations of Pacman Neb, Caldwell 23 (Outer Limits Gx), Elephant Trunk Neb and M33 @BristolAstroSoc @StargazerRob @PeterLewis55 @DavidBflower @sjb_astro
@PeterLewis55 @Superlunarchick There’s electronically assisted imagery and there’s astrophotography. I used to sketch my targets. Now i can look at them “live” on my ipad using same scope in same location and really “see” them. No post-processing needed (in the main).
Been having some fun around Sagittarius region over recent nights. Continuing to remain true to #EAA in that my stacks remain around 10-15mins but did drift to 30 mins for M31! @DavidBflower @sjb_astro @PeterLewis55 @StargazerRob @RobertMMassey @nickveck @BristolAstroSoc
@NickAstronomer @GBApollo Nah! He’s just been watching too much #jamesbond #itsonlyafilm
Next up... The Crescent Neb, bits of the Veil Neb (East and West) and a tiny piece of the North American Nebula...
One of the pleasures of having a bit more time has been to read @Room_Space cover to cover. It really is a most stimulating magazine for anyone serious about our “space world”. Well done to all for the Summer Edition. Thoughtful as always. @simpson_clive @ChrisNewman1972
