Halo Reach's Revenant concept art really reminds me of the Phaeton... wonder if it drew any inspiration from here?

Halo 5 was grand, bold, and willing to push the universe in new directions.
It's narrative wasn't without missteps but it was not content to simply play it safe or settle into a status quo.
Originally I was sorta hopeful that some at 343 wanted to "bring back every armor eventually", it's clear it'll never happen in Infinite
Cores were limiting, redesigns aren't really bringing them back, and lacking full chests, arms, and legs means H4/5 would never be represented
I don't think simplicity was ever really something synonymous with Halo's art style- I think it was more a limitation than anything at the time Halo was made
