Tonight we have Yasemin Gyford She says: "I wanted to create stories and images that can evoke memories and feelings and share them with others."

Tonight’s illustrator is Ana Marques - we love Ana’s soft marks and gentle palettes.

Ana says: “Many moons ago, I moved from Porto, Portugal, to study graphic design and have been working in the fields of the visual arts, digital, multimedia and learning design since.”

Next is Chia-Lu Lin (Gayo Lin). She says: “I like drawing things around me, making stories related to my own experiences and also developing the possibilities of physical elements in picturebooks.”

Next is Mauri Mendes

He says “I am producing my books here in our apartment in Amsterdam, observing the world passing by, children playing and people walking their dogs, from our window on the second floor.”

Next up is Berglind Sigursveinsdóttir
“I’m very bad with the cold. Whenever there’s a warm day wherever I am, I like to head outside to find interesting subjects to draw or paint. I love working with gouache, coloured pencils, and wax-pastels.”

“Lately, I have been working with linocut printmaking and collages. I love Wes Anderson films, Agatha Christie murder mysteries, mid-century furniture and art deco architecture”

Good morning! First up today is Yiyan Zang. Yiyan says: “I like to capture my own different emotions and I’d like to express my own experience with special emotions through story.”

Good morning! Our first illustrator is Lewis Barton. We love his atmospheric images. Lewis says, "I enjoy making fast and impulsive images, letting the subject inspire the pace, mood, and medium."

Tonight we have Marianne Ma, whose lovely soft lines and palettes are so calming
“my pen has drawn enough blueprints for constructions, and started to draw only pictures - the pictures that depict all the beautiful stories the world tells me."

Next is Lily Thomson
“I think the best way to connect
with people and places is through their artwork, and I have been lucky enough to see and try out lots
of materials and techniques. I love textiles as an artform, which is why my illustrations are heavily
patterned.”
