Once the perspective was taken care of, I fleshed out the lighting and colors. As Songs of COnquest uses an elaborate lighting system, I had to balance the colors to make them look brillant for different light setups, but still working with the characters.

Now I roughly texture and light the tree, crosscheck with the engine and look at different camera positions, to make it work well within the context of the game.
SoC is made within Unity and luckily I had great tools made by the programmers and tech artists.
