L: full scene, with dramatic lighting in which the same shades flow together to create a fuller color scheme
R: personal character, complementary color scheme neutralized with white.
It's very interesting how off our sense of estimating the "amount of colors used" in visuals are.
A simple style always will appear like it has less colors,
a complex style always will appear like it has more colors.
Monochrome always less than full chroma.

@Reff_SQ That for example is one of my first pixelarts and then a remake of the same after focusing more on pure drawing skills after one year.
