@TheBat_Family I do love the gauntlet sense that Bruce had to endure, but for a story about breaking Batman down against a very physical foe, and him rising back up. Batman vs. Predator is still the best at that.
I watched Death in the Family tonight. Quick review it was fun choosing the numerous directions the movie could go toward. Some short (some long possibilities).
I'm not a particular fan of the Devin Grayson run, but I do like that issue since it featured Leonardi drawing a wicked Cass/Slade fight (the unique part I love about it is she fights him one-handed due to holding a disc in one hand the entire time).
But also in a way to FINALLY reclaim what was lost to both of them. Before reality got all screwy. They know this symbol is their's. They have a right to it.
And defend it even if they don't have the complete permission. Somewhere a certain mother is smiling at her daughter for listening to her advice. To rise and show everyone who she and Steph are.
Here's the thing about Joker War Zone. The continuity is all over the place. But this above? I can fully bet this takes place right before Bruce called them. They see what's going on and then get the call. Least that's my way to "fix" this error.
