Alright, I went into length last night over ONE SINGLE panel in Dark Knights Death Metal: Robin King #1, so what about the REAL story we should all read the secondary story in the comic starring the Signal!
DC Bombshells features Cassandra Cain leading a group called the "Bats of Blood and Iron" and is Black Bat in this universe. She shows up for a panel in DC Bombshells United #8 (aka see @Espanolbot tweet below). She also shows up in #18-19.
That's probably the most curious thing about Batgirl & the Birds of Prey. Cass had four appearances in the comic, but never a full-on "Batgirls" moment with Babs. Instead, Cass/Steph had it with the Sirens.
It's still #WonderWomanDay and though I could post the moment Cass teamed with Diana in WW #600, it's this moment the two share at the same time in Batgirl & the BoP #16 that still sends me.
This entire series turned a new corner in their relationship. They were actually acting like a mother/daughter. Shiva respected Cassandra. Tried to give her daughter a better life. There was a page in this chapter turned.
We've heard this talk before. We've spent the last few issues hearing it from Shiva, and now we get it from Bruce. At this point, I have to question is it really just Bruce or Shiva who's speaking this stuff here?
@TheBat_Family @VideoGameRecon1 I think it made only Nguyen love the two more. Why we got the "Cass's Waffle Problem".
@TheBat_Family @VideoGameRecon1 So Li'l Gotham Halloween opens with Cass (dressing up as Jason)/Steph/Klarion walking down the street. There were previews showing the opening page as shown on the left. Day of the online release, suddenly Stephanie has black hair (right).
