Our skulls contain many of the same bones as extinct dinosaurs. See human and Spinosaurus below for comparison. One major difference is that mammal skulls have a much greater degree of fusion than dinos - which is why dinosaur skulls are often found disarticulated.

is a 130 million year old polocanthine dinosaur from North America named after 2500 year old warriors. Known for their large shields, were the backbone of ancient armies during the classical era. Both relied on their armour for survival in battle.

An armored dinosaur from Queensland, lived ~130mya during the early Cretaceous. It and its other armored counterparts from and Antarctica may form their own family, but for now they are all considered "basal" ankylosaurids.

An early Jurassic sauropodomorph, was native to Southern Africa ~ 190 million years ago. It was one of the first dinosaurs described (1850s) and is the namesake of an entire family of mid-sized, bipedal "pro-sauropod" dinosaurs.

Feathered tyrannosaurs? Some (like Dilong & Yutyrannus) have been discovered with fossilized feathers. But, skin impressions from large, more advanced tyrants only reveal scales. Aside from sample size, 1 theory for why is "gigantothermy".
