Watched Scooby-Doo Legend of the Phantosaur and all I could think about for the whole film was how 1) that’s not an Allosaurus and 2) you would not find Allosaurus and Massospondylus fossils in the same rock layer cause they lived 30 million years apart.
This is a cry for help.

An early Jurassic sauropodomorph, #Massospondylus was native to Southern Africa ~ 190 million years ago. It was one of the first dinosaurs described (1850s) and is the namesake of an entire family of mid-sized, bipedal "pro-sauropod" dinosaurs.

Incisivosaurs: look at the buck teeth, he cute
Yi Qi: ACTUAL DRAGON
Massospondylus: hurr durr proto sauropod
Changyuraptor: You like wings? We put wings on your wings so you could have more wings!
I used to get the odd kids dino book gig. Usually you would have 2 days per image and no consultant! Tried for accuracy as best I could.
Massospondylus, Therizinosaurus, Hylaeosaurus, Dacentrurus.
(Background is flat grey because these were sent off to the layout folks.)
#3UnderSeen in part because I don't think I've shared them, as they're all abandoned WIPs. Deinocheirus, and speculative/experimental takes on Massospondylus & Masiakasaurus. #paleoart https://t.co/zySQ6EXCRM
Have you ever seen a dinosaur’s ear? This is Massospondylus, an early plant-eating dinosaur from the Jurassic of southern Africa. Recent work by our researcher @JamesNeenan revealed the inner ear (the organ that helps us keep our balance & hear) of both babies & adults!
