For the fourth #SixFanartsChallenge, I’ve a WIP of Sekiro and Hanbei the Undying. Cursed with undeath, Hanbei requests Sekiro free him of his suffering once the one-armed wolf obtains the Mortal Blade. I’ve hit a block with this one. I’ll return to it later.

#mermay2020 26,Perþō ᛈ, unclear in meaning. Referring perhaps to the pear-tree, or a woodwind or string instrument or game. An old English poem goes, "Peorð is a source of recreation and amusement to the great, where warriors sit blithely together in the beerhall." #procreate
#mermay2020 24, Mannaz ᛗ, humanity. The world if man comes from the dust of gods, the dark. An old English poem goes, "The joyous man is dear to his kinsmen; yet every man is doomed to fail his fellow, since the Lord by his decree will commit the vile carrion to the earth."
#mermay2020 22,Ehwazᛖ, a horse rune. An old English poem goes, "The horse is a joy to princes in the presence of warriors. A steed in the pride of its hoofs, when rich men on horseback bandy words about it; and it is ever a source of comfort to the restless."

#mermay2020 day 20, Berkanan ᛒ, the birch tree. An old English poem goes, "The poplar bears no fruit; yet without seed it brings forth suckers, for it is generated from its leaves. Splendid are its branches and gloriously adorned its lofty crown which reaches to the skies."
#Mermay2020 day17, Sunnandæg, the Sun's day. Sól, sister to the moon (Máni), the Prose Edda reads, "Mundilferi is he who began the moon, and fathered the flaming sun; The round of heaven each day they run, to tell the time for men."
