Pretty slight update I made to my fursona’s design. Trying to utilize gradients more especially as I change my style. So in addition to updating the art from his ref, here’s some doodles with where I’m going stylistically! I just think it fits my artistic direction a lot better.
Couple style experiments with fursona head shots as I try to branch out with coloring methods, textures, and shapes. Bottom right is my current favorite but I’m still practicing a lot. Also playing with some marking variations :]
practicing in traditional mediums again using some crosshatched ma.rkers. pretty different from my other recent stuff, but I hope you guys enjoy.
im trying to get looser and more experimental, and find new ways to simplify my art, so I may be doing more art like this soon!
Continuing my trend of Pokemon art - Feraligatr, Flaaffy, Cubone, and an older Nidoking I still kinda like.
Pokémon doodles I’ve done over the last two months to play with style and such. They make good wind downs and warmups. Flygon, Typhlosion, Slowpoke, Haxorus, and Garchomp.
My other commission this round was for @jesserobster, of him and his partner @wrestlecub’s OCs Magnus and Buck the tag team wrestling bears! This was a great opportunity to experiment with lighting and poses. I hope you both like it! I had a great time working on this piece.
Okay, looks like people would prefer I just raise the price and keep the quality as is! So I will open for 2 slots of $45 refined sketch commissions to be finished in the next week or two, due to ongoing illness and work. Each additional character is $18! DM me! https://t.co/IHcLixDsg8
If I keep them at $35, they would be more rough and shading would be much more simple. Like a shaded version of these sketches, but with simpler shading like in the Pokémon pic. I used this Digimon art as an original examples for what I meant but it sort of spiraled from there
