R.I.P. to Ron Cobb (1937-2020), an absolute legend and one of my all-time favorite conceptual illustrators. Responsible for much of Alien's signature aesthetic, several of Star Wars' aliens, Back to the Future's DeLorean, and more.
Wish it hadn't been revealed by a Funko Pop of all things, but drew up this glimpse of what the Baron will look like in the upcoming Dune film (note the rings, it's not Rabban).
I imagined more regal colors, but to be fair, it does resemble Schoenherr's original illustrations.
For real, I'd play the shit out of anything that looks like Roger Dean's work.
I know it seems like I keep piling on projects for myself, but this is one that's been gestating for a looooonnnnng time. Here's a teaser of the rough composition ideas.
I will say that Agilus is one of my favorite character designs I've ever done.

When grouped together, it's surprising how many Dark Souls characters I've drawn, and yet, about half the cast remains to be finished or even started, haha.
